Projectile has experience providing tile installation services in the wider Wellington region for new homes and existing homes (renovations), including kitchens, bathrooms, entrance foyers, fireplaces, splash-backs and outdoor patios.
Projectile also provides tile installation services to retail stores, commercial premises and for construction firms.
Projectile’s primary tiler has:
- Five years tiling experience
- National Certificate in Floor and Tall Tiling (Building and Construction Industry Training Organisation) – Introductory Skills (Level 2) Version 1
- Waterproofing application certificates for a range of brands
- Site safe certificate.
Depending on the size and timing of the job, Projectile may contract to other tilers.
Projectile will work with you to accommodate specific design or installation requests, including providing advice where necessary.

Choosing a tile?
It can be a lot of fun choosing a tile, thinking about the transformation you want to create! If you are tiling an area that will carry frequent heavy weight, you will need a good quality tile (ie. porcelain).
Consider whether the surface could get wet and be slippery (for example if the tile is outside, you can purchase non slip tiles with a slightly textured surface).
There are specific tiles for walls (they are usually smaller in size).
